French Countryside Wedding

Our French Countryside Wedding Styled Shoot was a breath of Fresh, Spring air!

When searching for a serene, slightly rustic and romantic space for our French Countryside Styled Shoot, the moment we laid eyes on The Lockstone, we knew it was the one! The Lockstone is rich in history, their stone barn was built in 1875, and was a carriage barn for travelers along the Erie Canal. The old world character and charm that the Lockstone has to offer was the ideal backdrop for the bright French, blue hues to truly pop! The Lockstone also boasts a ton of natural light, making for ethereal, stunning photos.

Kevin and Vince are both pharmacists, who met in school, and bonded over a love of French food, and their desire to live sustainably in upstate NY. Kevin & Vince grow a delightful garden every year, and even raise chickens in their suburban home! Their love of French cuisine inspired this wedding shoot, and there are nods to their love story throughout the images!

In addition to our lovely, real life couple, the soft, French romance was amplified by our stunning bridal model, Karissa Birthwright. She was a vision in the Pronovias Calas gown, from Silk Bridal. The movement in the sleeves, along her with floral parasol were Parisian perfection.

We could go on and on about the beauty you’re going to witness, but let’s get right to the beautiful images captured by Jacalyn Meyvis from Jacalyn Meyvis Photography

We absolutely adored the invitation suite from Lanni Made!! As Kevin & Vince raise chickens at their suburban home, tying them into the invitations was an easy choice!

As Kevin & Vince are very interested in botany, we were thrilled at the chance to create some inspired personal florals! Kevin’s floral sash was stunning, & Vince’s floral bowtie was a gorgeous statement piece. The team at I Do Wedding Flowers wowed us with each perfect piece!

What would a French wedding be without the food?! Farmhouse Table curated a selection of French cheeses, bread, croissants, and meats that were almost too pretty to eat! The charcuterie was displayed on a stunning vintage cart from Something Borrowed Rentals, which was the perfect rustic touch!

We fell in love with the stunning slate & light blue suits for our grooms from Friar Tux ! The beautiful blue hues elevated the aesthetic, and the grooms looked fantastic!

The desserts were both drop dead gorgeous, and delicious! Between the stunning watercolor cake from Nubian Desserts & the macarons from Scratch Bakeshop, our grooms had a hard time deciding what to try first!
